Veridus

Terms of Service

Effective 13 October 2026

These terms apply when you use Veridus: the mobile app, the web app at app.veriduspro.com and this website. By creating an account or using Veridus, you agree to them. Questions go to [email protected].

1. What Veridus is

Veridus helps a business track its stock, record sales, keep a ledger of credit sales its own customers owe it, and see reports. Veridus is a record-keeping tool. Veridus does not lend money, hold money, or process payments between a business and its customers.

2. Your account

3. Your data

The business records you put into Veridus belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service to you. You are responsible for having the right to record your customers' and staff's details, and for keeping any records the law requires you to keep, such as for tax. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data.

4. Plans, trial and payment

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Veridus to break the law, record goods or transactions that are illegal, try to reach another business's data, interfere with or overload the service, or copy or resell the service.

6. Availability

We work to keep Veridus available and your data safe, and the app keeps working without internet and syncs when a connection returns. We cannot promise the service will never be interrupted or free of errors. Check important figures, such as stock counts and amounts owed, before relying on them for major decisions.

7. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app under More → Delete Account. See how account deletion works. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or fails to pay, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents us.

8. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, Veridus is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost business, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using Veridus after that, the new terms apply.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and Nigerian courts can hear any dispute about them.
